Alan Gerson - THE 9-11 COMIC BOOK

Please join us on this sacred day of remembering as New Orleans artist Alan Gerson talks about and signs his just released THE 9-11 COMIC BOOK.

Packing blunt storytelling by N.P. Clearly, backed by gut-grabber artwork by Gerson, THE 9-11 COMIC BOOK recounts the events of 9-11 with horror and hope. The Narrator is none other than the Angel of Death.

“I was 13 when it happened, and The 9-11 Comic Book helps you remember what you never want to forget. N.P. Clearly's storytelling captures the pure shock and horror, and Gerson's artwork embodies the fear, hopelessness and loss we all felt that day, and still feel. The Angel of Death is definitely one of the creepiest Narrators ever -- truly epic. It all ties together beautifully. This story is told as it should be - with brutal honesty and transparency.”
-Brandon Morris, Seattle

“A world watched tragedy gets a unique treatment in this graphic comic recounting of the terrorist attacks of September 11th. The perspective is jarring – the Angel of Death is the narrator, giving the presentation a macabre punch that is matched by the stark, distorted almost zombie-like illustration that accompany the text. The images are well known, the scenes seared into the memory of all those who watched and witnessed the horror of that day. The 9-11 Comic Book brings back the darkness, the fear, the hysteria, the sadness, the heroism and hope. It’s all there, in black and white.”
-Steven Pena, Fredericksburg
