Ruth Carvin - A VISIT TO NEW ORLEANS

Ruth Carvin will sign her post-Katrina edition of her children's book, A Visit to New Orleans with Pictures to Color and Verses to Read.  Written in verse, it is both a storybook and a coloring book.

A Visit to New Orleans follows two children as they explore the city and enjoy it's many attractions.  Originally published in 1984, Ruth updated the book after Hurricane Katrina destroyed both the original film needed for re-printing and many of the attractions that had been included. The post Katrina edition has new verses and illustrations on Jazz Fest, A Swamp Tour, The Canal Streetcar and more. And the back cover includes updated maps showing places of interest to visit with children.
