Jeanette R. Weiland is the author of Beignets For Breakfast. She lives with her husband and two children in the Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana, where she writes children's books that highlight the easily-overlooked treasures in life. Living in a town that exudes the boldest of color and flavor and sunshine year-round, she balances her focus on spreadsheets with thoughts of planting tropical gardens in the ground.Allison Lemon is a multi-media artist from Memphis, Tennessee. She received her BFA from the University of Memphis and also attended The Yale Norfolk School of Art. She is pursuing a master's degree in painting at The University of Colorado Boulder.
