Her agency started as Talented Teens when she taught high school, became Hale Talent to better reflect her representation of of all ages - infants to golden-agers. She dedicated TIPS OF A TALENT AGENT to her oldest actress, Lauren Swinney, who continued acting until two years before dying last year at the age 96.
Rebecca Fichter Hale grew up in New Orleans in the Ninth Ward, attended high school at the Academy of the Holy Angels, and later taught there. She taught Drama, Speech, and English for forty-three years in high school, middle school, and college: the Academy of the Holy Angels, Brother Martin High School, Southeastern Louisiana University, Delgado Community College, and for twenty of those years in various schools in the Jefferson Parish Public School System as a Talented/Theater Teacher. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Drama and Communications from the University of New Orleans and a Ph.D. in Educational Theater from New York University. She had directed over 75 plays in schools and community theater and is is the author of THE SOUL OF THE CITY: LE PETIT THEATRE DU VIEUX CARRE.
